Kalamkari Gel Pen Wall Art (BW9) — Framed Indian Folk Art

A framed A4 gel pen artwork of a Kalamkari design, hand-drawn in black and white on premium paper. Ready to hang or stand on a shelf.

Kalamkari is one of India's oldest textile traditions — the name means "pen work", from the bamboo kalam used to draw onto cloth. Practised for centuries in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, it fills every available space with flowing figures, foliage and pattern.

Drawing it in gel pen is a natural translation: Kalamkari was always a pen art, and here the same dense, patient linework is worked onto paper instead of cloth.
